If you're a coffee lover, Smith Street Roasters is an absolute gem. Their coffee is consistently smooth, rich, and beautifully balanced—every cup is a little moment of joy. Whether you're into a silky flat white or a bold long black, you can taste the care and quality in every sip.
But what truly elevates the experience for me is where I get it—Flowers on East St in Lidcombe. It might surprise some to find such phenomenal coffee tucked inside a florist, but trust me, it's a hidden treasure. And without a doubt, Mike is my favourite barista. His attention to detail, friendly vibe, and the way he nails my coffee every single time is what keeps me coming back.
Great coffee, great people, and a great start to the day. Highly recommend!
I live in Lidcombe and the Flower Cafe on East Street is the best coffee in the suburb. I always wondered why that is until I saw this competition entry and noticed that they Use the Smith St house blend. I have tried all the cafes around my area and only one Cafe the Cherry Beans Cafe comes close. I wonder if they use the same blend as the Flower Cafe l.
The house blend at Smith Street Espresso is a winner — rich, full-bodied, and perfectly balanced. It’s got just the right hit of chocolatey depth with a subtle fruitiness that lingers without overpowering. Smooth as hell, no bitterness, just a clean, satisfying finish. Easily one of the best blends I’ve had in Sydney
First time trying this blend. The coffee blend was very good. The texture, smell and taste was exactly what a coffee should be.
I’ve tried so many coffee brands over the years, but nothing tastes like Smith St.
I wasn't a coffee lover until I tried smith coffee, I tried 6 flavours and my favourites is santa Rita and organica.
Smith Street Coffee Roasters has become one of my go-to favourites — their beans are consistently fresh, and full of character. I especially love their Up Up blend as it is strong. You can really taste the care that goes into their roasting. Highly recommend for anyone who takes their coffee seriously.
Really enjoyed my cappuccino made on Smith St beams at BiteMe Pockets. The coffee has great flavour and is really nice and smooth.

Your coffees are absolutely the best coffee I’ve ever had in my life just yum 😋
Ross always greets you with a smile and makes a fantastic coffee as well. Only way to start the day with a large Liscia cap.
I bought a brew from a vendor before my daughter’s band competition at a local public school. It went great with a slice of lemon drizzle cake from the cake stall. Yum coffee & cake!
Life’s too short for bad coffee, so treat yourself to the best with Smith St.’s Organica. Pure flavour, pure enjoyment. Served with a friendly smile.
As you can clearly see the title says it all if you understand it.
I love coffee especially Ross’
